David's Quote
"I have started to write, record, and perform music with a band. I now understand the artists' perspective. I know what it is like when you count on your record sales to finance the record itself."

Bio
David Wurzburg is a 24-year-old recent graduate from the University of California at Santa Cruz, with a degree in Political Theory. He currently lives in San Francisco where he tutors high school students for the SAT’s.
David plays the mandolin and the guitar, the mandolin being his primary instrument. He currently plays in a bluegrass band called the Jewgrass Boys, and is extremely active in the acoustic music scene in the Bay Area.
David feels that if one is truly invested in the issue of digital music, he/she must have knowledge of all the angles from which one can approach the topic. He says, "The controversy does not come down to such a simple battle of fans vs. musicians or artists. The people affected are the songwriters, recording engineers, visual artists who create album covers, among many others. These folks are, more often than not, just trying to make a living."
In addition, David feels that the larger music industry must take responsibility for this issue, as well as the fans. Digital technology will remain a part of our world and all industries must adopt methods of embracing this new technological era.
David states, "Support the music and those responsible for making it, and we can look forward to a world always full of music."
