Robbie's Quote
"I myself am a former chronic-downloader who developed a love for music mostly through artists that I solely discovered through Napster back in 2000. Since then, music downloading has gone through many phases and my own opinions and views on it have as well."

Bio
Born and raised in Auburn, Ala., Robbie is 23 and currently lives in Murfreesboro, Tenn., where he recently graduated from Middle Tennessee State University with a degree in Music Business and a minor in Marketing.
Robbie has what he describes as, "An intense passion for music; it drives me, affecting nearly every aspect of my life." Robbie is a songwriter and hip-hop emcee who performs locally under the alias Kamoshin (pronounced "commotion"), and is in the developing stages of building a career as an artist. In addition he is currently working part time at Compass Records, a Nashville-based independent record label.
Robbie has been making music for more than five years. Although his future career is uncertain, one thing that he is sure of is that he is bound and determined to play an active role in the music industry.
Robbie believes that in this new era of the music industry, music downloading has become a very important issue. Robbie says, "Having initially discovered the music that is the passion of my life through Napster five years ago, one might think that I support file-sharing. But the fact is, I am a hardworking artist and I can see the effect of illegal downloads from both sides of the coin."
Since each day it is becoming more apparent that digital music is the wave of the future, Robbie understands that it is the next generation's responsibility to help develop a solution to the problem. He is looking forward to being a part of the WTDIAB and is hopeful that his input can help others find the right direction and find a medium that will accommodate both the industry and the fans. Robbie feels blessed to have this opportunity to make a difference and is extremely excited about being involved with this program.
